Window Motor Switch Wiring

I am in the process of rewiring my S4 dashboard and the only problem I have come across so far is how the wires connect to the window motor switches. I am using the workshop manual and a diagram of the switches as viewed from behind in Gordon Lunds book. It appears that Gordon's diagram for the wire colours is different to the manual wiring diagram and the loom itself. I trawled through the relevant photos on the forum but couldn't find any drawing or photo to help. Any help would be much appreciated.

William,
This is what I drew when I changed my dashboard. Note that my Elan is LHD, so the driver's side will be opposite for you.
Noting the Driver's side for all the switches was not electrically relevant but it helped me visualize things, especially for the switches that are not symmetrical. I was being super careful!
The Red/White to the Courtesy light can piggy back to the Brown wherever it's easiest.

Hi Nick, thanks for your diagram. The only thing I noticed is that my switches have 6 tags with a centre pole arrangement and I thought the brown/green and brown/red wires connected to the centre tags?? Regards, William

Oh. I don't remember if my switches had 6 tabs. I think I would have noted it on my drawing, but it was a couple of years ago, so I can't be sure.
Perhaps somebody else has some switches to hand?

Not sure whose car/pictures these were but I grabbed them just for instances like this:
- Looks like there are jumpers between some of the terminals
The car is an S4

Oh yes, so the cross-over links connect to the two tabs at the bottom. Input power and ground at the top and, crossed over, at the bottom; output in the middle. That makes sense and jives with the switch motion.

The window switches have 6 terminals each. I decided to use relays to take the load off the switches. My, that took some research! I have ended up with four changeover relays and it all works beautifully.
