Has anyone used a Triumph GT6 washer pump / switch to replace the (almost) unobtainable original?
At ?25 it seems good value, but would it park correctly and take the same wiring?
The item number is 155495

Is this one the same as the ones used on later Europa Twin Cams with the electric washer pump?

No Steve, this is a push manual pump combined with a turn-2 speed wiper switch.

So, it's the one with the diaphragm that so often goes bad after all these years? As used on the earlier S2 Europas?

Hi,

Bought one of these yesterday, also bought a new knob to match. The whole thing fits well and looks the part.

Hi Kev

So sorry for the late reply. I bought switch and knob from James Paddock, there is a choice of two knobs I went for the round one. Have a look on their site.

No problem Keith, I too bought one from James Paddock, then luckily amongst all the mess in the car, I found the original knob. I'll be putting the dash back in shortly to try it out.

Vaughan, I asked the same question on here in another post and nobody knew. I also asked James Paddock who was clueless and I also hunted around an engineering stores with no joy. In the end I recut the thread for a large unc nut but with the recessed chrome fitting that goes into the dash wood, it was all a bit of a fuss.
Good luck,
Kev.
