Starter question

I think I have seen mention on here of owners putting the earth lead onto a bolt on the tower to keep it away from the wet (and hence more corrosive) region at the bottom of the boot.

So you may need to remove your parcel shelf to see where it has been earthed.

I have to correct my earlier post. The car came originally with positive ground as indicated by the tachometer and I am assuming it now has negative ground because it now has an alternator, I will have to verify by tracing the cables. Thanks, Chris
