The replacement dash cable assembly for my S4 has plastic instead of metal bulb holders for some of the instruments. They look like they take a wedge type bulb. Can anyone tell me the wattage I need?

I believe they use a LLB286 wedge (or capless) rated at 1.2 Watts for the minor instruments if you wish the 'stellar' performance of the original.

Here is a link that provides some typical size info...

There is also a reference to the LLB510 at 2.2 watts in the Holden catalog for new gauges (large and small ones) here...

The other reference I found is the LLB504 Capless Bulb at 3 watts. Definitely use these for the Speedo and Tach.

I ended up using LED's to replace the incandescents.
