69 S4 - Customized Battery and Jack Placement

Hi folks - the previous owner of my S4 made what I think is a great mod and I wanted to share a few pics. The battery is centered and is bolted down to a custom metal plate. There is a trunk light mounted that sits just ahead of the battery. The jack and handle are mounted in what I think is the original battery position.

Being left handed I keep the jack where you have your battery  although if I could find a slightly smaller one it would go in the spare wheel well.

In the past I have wondered about doing exactly this, moving the battery into the centre and your p.o. looks to have made quite a neat job of it

How are the jack handle brackets fixed to the panel - it's not bolts going through to the exterior is it?

The Jack seem to be a Porsche aluminium jack. If so, it is an ultralight jack compared to steel ones. I am thinking of finding one second hand on dedicated web sites.
the mounting is ?ber clever indeed.

Regarding the battery is it a classic shape battery or is it one of these ultralight lithium cells one? very light but very costly?
The charging plug added to the battery plugs is another well thought mod!

Why? Leave the battery where it should be, rather than clutter the luggage space, and the scissor jack would fit with the spare wheel in the well, and, presumably, you`ll need the spare wheel out the only time you`d use a scissor jack. If you don`t want to do this then mount the jack on the right, surely? Am I missing something?

Rich (OP), what's the origin of the jack? Will it actually work when needed? I'm thinking the same as P' Sprint.
