S1 Speedos, which is correct ?

Guys.
I?m currently re-building an early S1 car, and can?t figure out which is the correct Speedo to fit. Please see attached picture
The difference is one has a ?Green? indicator light and the other an ?Amber? indicator light.
I?ve seen quiet a few early cars, and it seem ?both? types are fitted ?.
So which is correct ?. The only thing I can think of is that ?Federal/Export? cars may
have been Amber and UK Green ?.
Any ideas ?

I think your ascribing to much system and structure to Lotus especially back in the early 60's. I am sure they fitted whatever was at hand on the day and I doubt they even specified in detail the turn indicator lens colour to their supplier. They were not really into getting all the paperwork details precise
cheers

I believe the green one is correct too and have a vague notion that the Amber one is from a Lotus Cortina?
Out of interest are the numbers under the centre of the needle exactly the same? I'd expect to see a small difference - something like SN6207/08 and maybe SN6207/09 (just as an example - these are just differences between MPH and KPH gauges).

Guys. Thanks to all those that responded, looks like the ?Green? is a clear winner.
For ?Elan-Fan? Interestingly both Smiths Speedometer Numbers are the same
That is. SN6136/000A 1000.

If you want original black bezels you can get them from this man. He refurbs instruments and usually replaces black with chrome so has a stock of old bezels.
There are also some ebay sellers who sell new black bezels.
