No windows and rear lights stuck on

Hi there. My 1967 left hand drive series 3 DHC has been stuck indoors over much of the winter due to the bad weather. But I took her out for a spin yesterday only to find that the rear lights remain on all the time and the electric windows don't work.
I imagine the windows might be a fuse problem, but does anyone know what the cause of the suck read lights might be or where I ought to look?
Also can anyone tell me where the fuse box is?

Thanks very much.
Philip

Phillip, the fuse box is on the firewall, near where the heater hoses enter the cockpit. There's probably a square black cover covering the fuses. Just pull the black cover off. There are only two fuses, unless someone modified the wiring.

Lights stuck on could be brake light switch.

Windows could be fuse or bad grounds. Many of the grounds are copper on steel, so there can be electrolysis between connections. Cleaning and remaking grounds is a prudent preventive maintenance every year.

Thanks very much both of you for your kind replies.
I shall check the fuses and see if I can locate the problem.

Sometimes previous owners have put capsule fuses in odd places like behind the ashtray or behind the knee cowling trims.
