Aldon ignitor and an RV1 tach

Hi

looks like an RV1 4 terminals ground for the case +12V input and two leads for the current loop
gold colour is probably what the rebuilder did

Yes that's the case of a later version RV1, with the loop internal. i attach 2 pics of the early type with the external loop, for comparison.

As I'm sure you know, the current has to flow in the correct direction through the loop for the tacho to work.
