temp gauge accuracy

Sorry, don't mean to grind on and bore you, but i thought I should say, a contact probe has a flat end on a springy bit. At first glance it looks similar to an immersion probe, which doesn't have the springy bit at the end and is used for measuring liquids. So you need the right one. For best results a little heat conductive grease on the subject is recommended to improve the heat transfer to the tip.
