I opened the gaps on mine to 030" ...This is with Magnetronic and Bosch 'Blue' coil.. You want to see (and hear!) the spark from that set up.

Electronic ignition, Bill - so the plugs will be BPR7ES or BPR6ES. But then Aldon will tell you that.
The plug leads should be resister type, also.
