I bought the BF-Torino "Silverstone" for my FHC. They are just like the original ones, but with headrest and better upholstery.

Of course you have to build your own seatrunners/mounts, but thats an easy task.

I saw these on fleabay and thought that they look 'smart'. Certainly they should be small enough considering the car they come from and leather too. ?200 the pair with no bids at present!

Hi,
I have an S4 FHC and the Motordrive seat didn?t fit mine at all.
The problem was that it sat on top of the seat rail platforms leaving the seat far to high. In the end I ended up chopping the rail platforms out to allow it to sit on the flat part of the floor. This was a lot of work, I was well pissed off have to do this after the shell was painted.
Is the floor a different shape compared to a series 1 or 2?
Regards

Hi All,
I am considering fitting these Sparco seats in my S2 restoration.
I will need to create a fixture plate underneath to avoid the hump in the floor section but the width and height are just perfect.

The Motordrive seat fitted quite easily into my S1 which has the same floor (apart from battery box) as the S4 as far as i can tell. I didn't fit it to runners, but just used side mounting frames.
In my S2 i have flattened the floor so that I can fit a seat more easily and also make it a lot more secure. I have a Tillett B5 installed at the moment but will probably revert to the Motordrive as it is FIA approved (which the Tillet isn't). Tillet does give masses of headroom....

Hi, just going through some of the archive material on replacement/aftermarket seats. It looks like a good choice for the road might be the BF Torino Silverstone? Do people have recommendations on mounting them - do you have to fabricate your own brackets etc or iss the manufacturer able to supply something suitable? For the track, it seems that the Motordrive might be suitable? Which model do people find is best and, again, are the mountings bespoke or available off the shelf? All suggestions and advice gratefully received! Many thanks, Robert
