Very early S1/2 on wires

Looks quite nice on the round arch, assume not a factory option, no idea where this can may be?

Definitely a Borrani wheel. They look sweet on most any car.

I like Christian's nominations very much, but I also like the standard steel wheels because they are part of the Elan 'look' of simplicity and functionality. The wires, though delightful on the right car, are truly hideous on an Elan. They just shout 'retrogressive engineering'.

I have to agree with John - I think the look of the originals is just right. However, I do run 5.5" wheels from the Plus 2 rather than the 4.5" original to my car. This is a holdover from my autocrossing days.

I've thought about going +1 to 14" wheels but am concerned that the wide, flat treads on the available tires are unsuitable for the Elan's suspension characteristics.

I have got an new set of the original steel wheels left but I was speaking only about alternatives ...
On KO they are nearly the best , but definitly too pretty specially with caps. Sorry.
