"Electronic" rev counter

Hi,

I've fitted the TTR electronic ignition system on my +2 a month ago, everything works very well except the rev counter, so I've bought an "electronic modified" one at Speedograph Richifield.
I've have some problem to fit it, when the 3 wires are correctly connected : hearth / negative side of the coil / ignition switch, the engine won't start, there is no ignition. When I put back the former rev counter, everything is ok.

Is there here a specialist in "+2 wiring loom" ;-) (or in electronic rev counter.... ;-) )?

Thanks in advance
Jerome

The feed to the coil passes through the old rev counter, when you replaced it did you join the 2 wires together ? They are white on an Elan not sure about a plus2.

Alan.

Thanks for the answer Alan, (and thanks terry for your message)

The two wires are white on the +2, I'll try to join them together and connect the new rev counter in 'parallel'.
