Wiper control

Rain, Rain rain in the UK. Topical one!
Went to Jim Clark run in April in the rain. Don't think it stopped much since back then. Swore I would fit an auto control.

Just fitted an intermittent wiper control kit from the Maplin's book. Had to solder it all together. Was about a tenner with P & P. It is quite big. I did not want to damage my dash so put it in a poly' carb box on a flex (piece of 7 core trailer socket lead) in the glove box and fed it through that rear grommet. Just wired it in, seems fine. On/off S/w and three positions. Approx' 15, 10 & 5 seconds. I learned something too. Did not know that a short is fitted across the motor at park to help brake! This kit has the two relays. One to power, and one to open the short loop. Really good instructions on how to fit.
I do like to use my car. Don't head out in the rain, but you do tend to get caught.
Should be good. No more flicking.
If anyone is interested I will post the cat no and some of the bits to fit.
