Does any one have a source for the Lucas map light that came with some +2s? It was teardrop shaped and came on when you flipped it up.

The same light was used as a rear seat reading light in XJ6 Jaguars, my 1986 Series 3 XJ6 version has them fitted. So try a Jag parts supplier.

My maplight had no innerparts so I spent months trying to buy one. They often come up on ebay, there is one on at the moment. They always seem to fetch about ?30. In the end I made up new innerparts myself.

Thanks for Ebay tip! I loved the quote with the TR-6 light! " A gentleman does not motor about after dark." Joesph Lucas, 1923

I may be getting a plus 2 to break in the following few weeks if you can wait, I think that has the light in it?
