What turned the lights off?

Hi,

Bought the Sprint last Summer, and decided on a programme of work this Winter, so deliberately laid the car up for some months.

Work nearly done, I'm resurrecting it, only to find that I've no lights. The pods will not rise. No sidelights, either.

The only work done over winter, related to the rear suspension.

Before winter, headlights were fine. If it's related, interior lights no longer work either.

Is there anything to look for, that might be due to the extended lay-up?

Regards,

Stuart.

The pods not coming up is vacuum related, no light bulbs working is of course electrical. Have you checked fuses? The side markers may just be reflectors, not lights. Do the headlight lights turn on?

Stuart,

Did you actually fire 'er up, or just turned on the headlight pod vacuum? Your engine has to have run recently for the vacuum-activated pods to rise (creates the vacuum). Also, is your battery fully charged? Checked your fuses and electrical grounding points? Checked your lighting relays?

Had checked all over before posting. Didn't check thoroughly enough .... it was a leak on the vacuum system, as was correctly pointed out.

Regards and thanks,
Stuart.
