Airhorn wiring

Installed new front harness and relays but stuck can't get airhorns to work. Tested horns and compressor individually and they all work fine so its the way I have wired them. I can feel the relay click but no sound from the horns.
The new harness comes with wiring for the two windtone horns, so I have taped the right hand not needed wires back into the harness and am left with the remaining purple and purple/black on the left. Have made up new feed and earth wires from compressor but need to know which terminals on the relay they should all go to. The relay is a four pin with the usual 85,86,87,30 terminals, diagram or sketch appreciated
Thanks
Tony

Hi Phil
Thanks for the link, I did trawl the forum but there seemed so many different views about it, but I see on the diagram from Bill that he has the 30/86 terminals linked together which is perhaps where I have gone wrong. Although on some forum responses they have shown a separate earth to the relay.
Will try again tonight and report back
Thanks

An update for the airhorn wiring, the diagram from Bill shown in the link provided by Phil is the one that worked for me. The diagram form the airhorn company was of no value as it was for a system where both types of horn were retained.
So providing a link wire between the two terminals on the relay was all that was needed. Thanks to Phil and to Bill for the original diagram.
