I love old period radios in classic cars, they just make the dashboard look 'right'. I particularly like old Radiomobiles. I'm no expert but I reckon that the production dates for Radiomobiles is as follows -
Radiomobile 900/T - 1963 to 1965 or 66
Radiomobile 970/980 - 1966 - 68
Radiomobile 1070/1080 - 1968 to 1970+
I'm sure somebody on this forum will have more accurate information.
And there are various threads on this forum about how to cope with the digital change over.

Can anyone explain how "Medium Wave" / "Long Wave" correlates to AM / FM that we use in the USA?
Thanks, Frank

Well neither of them are FM. From memory I don't think we got any FM broadcasts here until the early 70's. I've no idea what parts of the AM spectrum was used in the states back then but medium wave and long wave over here were just different parts of that. They're still used now with the BBC using the long wave frequency to split Radio 4, one of it's speech radio stations, to enable it to cover looong sports events (like 5 days of cricket) without upsetting the normal listeners.
