maserati air horns

I have the classic maserati air horns.
there are 2 ring terminals on the body of compressor
1 power
1 ground

then there are 2 spade connectors on the top
I believe to select single blast or a circular ringing of horns.

how do I wire these for a single blast.?
alls I get is the circular alarm type sound.
someone told me to jump the 2 spades together
and I have the same result.
can anyone help me?

Mine, just has the two power terminals with nuts (on the side) and a little covered hole for oil.... nothing else?

Same here, just 2 terminals.

I'd have thought to get any other 'tune' out of it you'd need more than one air outlet?
