Gearbox rear main bearing lubrication

Rebuild my +2 2000E gearbox but since the front main bearing cover was broke I had to put the box on a shelf until now.
Finally I got my front main bearing cover and put it in place together with the bell housing, put some oil into the box to look for any leaks. When I moved the box to put the clutch fork etc in place I lifted the gearbox t, having the bell-housing at top some oil leaked out trough the rear tail oil seal. This made me wonder how the lubrication of the rear main bearing actually work. If I recall correctly, there was some kind of oil return but that oil could actually escape from the gerabox trough the bearing, is this correct? Are quite sure that the gearbox is correct assembled but the oil leak still worries me.

Hi
That's correct as the propshft needs to be fitted to contain the oil, aslo make sure you seal the threads on the bottom left bell housing bolt.
