If you car is LHD you need to look on the passenger side of the tunnel, the access hole is on the RHS of the tunnel (driver's side in RHD car) .... as shown in Donels pictures

I should have guessed that. Geez, I just had my passenger seat out earlier this month too.

Where the front hole is shown in the chassis/subframe on this diagram. It is covered by the moulded tunnel cover and may be covered by carpet or underfelt.

I guess it's possible that your body has not got the circular hole cut in the right hand side of the tunnel.

Yes, to confirm, the port was on the passenger (right) side of my US market car.

Plug was even still intact.
