Right angle drive leak

Trying to figure out what is causing a slow but persistent leak from my right angle drive. It may just need a paper washer as I only just recently realized that they use them. Additionally, it is connected tightly, but the mechanism itself has a good amount of in and out play. This may be by design, or it may be why its leaking. Thanks, Dan

Scroll down the attached thread and you will find a modification which I did on my Elan. It worked, my gearbox is 101% non-drip. Requires the housing to be machined and a seal fitted.

I had a slow persistent leak and it turned out to be the securing fork was bent. I manipulated back into shat and refitted all is well. Turned out when my dad removed the body 35 years ago he forgot to disconnect the cable which pulled and bent the fork.
