Possibly. There certainly a significant difference in shifting on my box between cold and hot. Cold being much better, so my thinking is a thicker oil will help rather than a thinner oil.
Who ever rebuild my box failed to refit the spacer in the nose housing that holds the input bearing in place. With result my 4 to gear sncyhro is not in a good state. There decent chance the first gear one was also somewhat effected. Or it might just be a clutch adjustment issue causing drag on the clutch and therefore selection problems.
