Plus 2 diff removal

Well done for getting yours out!

I am at the same point to get my diff out - I have undone the nuts under the fuel tank and removed the washer, but the "bolt" is still sticking up through the hole. I guess I have to undo the nut (or probably the other end of the bolt) from under the car, on the diff itself? Then completely remove that bolt with the spacers/washers etc?

Mine is a 1970 +2 if that makes any difference. It has the red torsion rods, which I have undone from the chassis.

When doing my S3 diff hanger bolts I usually put a mole wrench on the nut or bolt head in the boot and then undo from underneath with a socket on one or two extension rods.
