Here's the link:

Looks interesting for those of us using donuts.

Here's the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HILLMAN-IMP-COMPETITION-BMW-CONVERSION-DRIVESHAFT-COUPLINGS-/192109934226?hash=item2cbaa4f692:g:wpYAAOSw4GVYSY8w

I think there has been some discussion about this sort of conversion and whether or not it's an effective solution?

EDIT: Gosh Skypilot, you're quick!

Are they as flexible as the original donuts ?

160 BHP before the differential is not the same as for a driveshaft after torque multiplication.
Also they would not need much angular flexibility on a propshaft.

Hill climb on a smooth road maybe OK, but I'd be wary of fitting them to a road car.

Vince you have hit the nail on the head cannot see them lasting long it is Torque that is the problem

I considered fitting the BMW couplings, thought better of it, to me it's the angles the driveshafts impose on the couplings. The only good thing is they tend to fail as photo and not break apart like a rotoflex.

Hope Imp Facebook copied ok.

at that price for four, (?270) you are well on the way to fit and forget solid driveshafts.....
Just my opinion of course.

(looking to replace doughnuts with solid driveshafts this year)

Will these work on my Elan Series 2. 1966?

I am on waiting list for a set of CV from Trikbits, but I would buy these.

Advice?
