blocker bar spring orientation?

anyone ever find these two different descriptions of how the synchro blocker bars springs orient in our wiki conflicting or confusing? I go by the second one and there are exploded gearbox images like the second one.

section 5.
"Check that the insert springs are correctly assembled,... and that they are both either positioned in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction as viewed from the front"

section 77
"They should run anti-clockwise (starting from the tang) when viewed from either side"

yep, what I did was put them back in the same orientation they were removed, which iirc was the second description. There were faint wear marks that were visible as well.

My method is :

Have the complete unit on the bench with one block bar at 12 o'clock (and obviously the others at 4 & 8) - fit the tail of the spring in the 12 o'clock block bar with the spring running either way you choose (ie clockwise or counter clockwise, it doesn't matter).
Now turn the unit over and put the other spring in exactly the same position as you look at it as you did the first one - so if one spring runs clockwise as you look at the (clock) face, when you turn the synchro unit over the spring on that should should also run clockwise and have the tail-end in the same block bar.
