Thanks to all for the wisdom regarding the "hanger bolts"
Im compiling a list of parts I need for lots of things on this car. With
regards to Rotoflex couplings, are they the same as those used in
a triumph Gt6?

If you do a search on the site for drive shafts or rotoflex you will quickly see that the rotoflexs currently available seem to be of poor quality and expensive. Solid driveshafts are the way to go unless originality is all important

I went to Victoria British with a Roto flex in hand hoping I might be able to match it up with one from one of the other cars, no go. Also went to Fiat place, no go. I think it's the Hillman Imp that it actually crosses over with but some people have questioned whether those have the integrity of the correct ones. They are available through some of the racing sites because of their use in I believe formula fords, like, I'm pretty sure Pegasus racing has them Gordon Sauer

Malcolm Anderson Imp parts sell heavy duty competition rotoflex, which are the same as Lotus heavy duty type for ?125!! I previously used an Imp for stage rallying. The car was fitted with a dog box and LSD and the steel output shafts would break before the heavy duty rotoflex!

Not knowing the Imps very well, what sort of angle of dangle do the drive-shafts go through compared to the Elan and Plus2 ?

Thanks for the wisdom on Rotoflex....looks kinda grim!

For the present, im stripping the interior so I can drop at upholstery shop.
I removed "what was left" of the door cards! Masonite does not age gracefully!
Matter of fact, very little remains. I plan on cutting new ones from upholstery
"blackboard"

. The steel parts at the door upper edges are pretty bad as well.
