I've been in contact with MKF who manufacture new helical gearsets in the UK for the 2000E gearbox, including a close ratio set with the 2.5:1 first (and, also, an ultra CR set)

The standard price is ?1,075 + VAT but there is the chance of a bulk buy discount if there are a few interested parties.

Just testing the water to see if there are any takers, and to establish approximate numbers

I need to build up a spare close ratio box sometime soon. I have used the Quaiffe straight cut gear set in the past but would be interested in the MKF set so happy to join in a bulk buy

Keep em coming chaps, I was hoping to get up to, say, 10 as that 'feels' like a critical mass in terms of negotiating a discount.

I've not discussed discounts yet as I want to go back with an indication of numbers first

I'm going to have a set regardless but the more interest the better the price is likely to be.

I spoke to MKF yesterday about a c/r gearset before I read this.
Yes, if it helps, put my name down for one.
