Clutch fork attachments

I am about to reassemble the clutch fork and release bearing assembly and I believe this can be a bit tricky. I think the only thing I would appreciate clarification on are the 2 spring clips. One end of each clip is bent round in more of a circle than the other. Which end goes in the clutch fork and which in the release bearing carrier?

I agree it is a bit muddling on first acquaintance, so I took a couple of photos. I hope they are a help.

The more curly bit goes into the bearing carrier, the less curly bit into the arm...

Thanks for your help gentlemen. You wouldn't want to get it wrong and everything to come apart with all the engine back in!

Check for wear on the curly springs where they locate, mine were replaced last time I had the box out and now they're nearly worn through......cheap copies..shiny thin material...managed to get good replacements...thicker and darker.

The proper arrangement is also illustrated in the workshop manual.
