Differential Cover Cost

Does anyone here know what a new differential cover cost? I want to be prepared mentally before I make calls to the usual suspects in retail...........ugh...I hate paying retail.

While doing some exploratory surgery on the P2 I noticed half of the housing ground off or broke off for the keeper/circlip/snap ring recess.
It looks as though sometime in the poor girls life the stub axle going into the differential broke and caused the damage, just a guess.

There doesn't seem to be much pressure on the the snap ring if any, as all the suspension bits hold things together. I'm trying to positive spin on this...........ya.......good luck.

Regards,
mike

Hi Mike

I have a couple of NOS (New Old Stock) diff covers. I believe I also have
a used one in perfect shape. I would be open to offers. Do you mind
letting what the price quotes are these days ?

I'm in the US, Virginia - where are you ?

All the best. Cheers, Bill ([email protected])

Not listed by Paul Matty, Sue Miller or SJS Sportscars.

Tony Thompson carries competition Ali & Mag ones....

WildBillOrr - You have cornered the market!

I asked Sue Miller about a carrier in March.

She quoted me a price - but I ended up buying a complete unit on eBay

Send her an email ([email protected])
