Speedo drive

I have a right angle speedo drive which is missing the protruding drive peg. Is it possible to repair this by trying to remove the peg shaft from an angle drive from another classic car drive and fitting it to the Lotus drive?

If you mean the square bit of speedo cable that goes into the gearbox speedo drive, you can get one here http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product. ... oduct=2443.

Salut William

I also bought a twill from Caterham but buggered the speedo drive trying to get the mangled bit out - well, I think it's held in by a bit of plastic and that's what I destroyed, so if it's possible to get that too that would be the way to go.

Alternatively Sue Miller will sell you one on an exchange basis for cheaper than new.

Have taken your advice and ordered a quill from Caterham cars. Thanks for your help.
