A real must on any Elan drivers bucket list. The real international racers say that PI is one of the best tracks in the world. I love it and it is a real thrill. A little too fast for us amateurs in old cars especially in the wet and I have seen a few horrendous incidents when people push it beyond their and their cars capabilties but you have to do it

When the lengthy rebuild of the S2 is finally complete in the next few
months, I will have to think about where I might be able to stretch it's legs,
maybe a bit of track work might be a bit of fun.

I wonder if the missing pin is why a friends 7 couldn't get reverse easily, and the one time I got it into reverse it wouldn't come out.

Good thing he had the rebuilt so that is no longer a problem.

Yes the Elan shifts very nice. Makes my wife's Alfa Berlina feel like a farm truck.
