Brake and clutch master relationship

PostPost by: gjz30075 » Sun Mar 11, 2012 12:15 am

I just noticed on my Sprint that the brake master cutout for the mounting in the footbox is slightly lower than the clutch mounting. Is this relationship standard across all Series?

As I look at the pushrod holes in the pedal assembly, it's hard to tell if they align with each other.

Thanks,

That's certainly the same as my S4 (RHD)

It may be a pedal ratio issue since both pedals pivot on the same shaft.

Greg,

Like your car, my 1969 Federal S4 has the brake MC is a little lower than the clutch MC.
