Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

How can I identify a "bullet" transmission? I understand that the name is commonly misused as the "special" transmission used in the Elan (Elan+2?) is not actually called "bullet".

What car were these from? How can the distinct gear ratios be confirmed in an actual transmission.
