Smiths Speedo Voltage Stabiliser wiring

Hi,

I am rewiring the dashboard on an Elan S4. I cant find a detailed diagram of what connection are made to the voltage stabiliser attached to the back of the speedo.

There are 3 terminals labelled E, I and B. Both I and B have space for 2 spade connections.

Can someone let me know what the inputs are? or point me towards a wiring diagram that shows this part in detail.

Thanks for responses.

Will

"B" stands for Battery, or power-in. "I" stands for Instruments, usually the green wire from the adjacent Fuel Gauge goes here. "E" on my original voltage stabilizer was a black ground wire that ran to the adjacent speedometer hold nut and then on to a grounding point on the car, although I now have a modern solid-state stabilizer that dispenses with this terminal altogether and just grounds by virtue of contact with the speedo case itself, which is in-turn grounded with a black wire at the hold nuts to a grounding point on the car.

Here is a pretty good information sheet from Moss Motors...
