Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the 4 speed box from my plus 2 with spyder chassis without taking the engine out?

I have done so on a regular Elan, with factory chassis. I would imagine that it can be done.

Taking a gearbox out is no big deal.

Getting it back in again takes skill backed-up by experience.
