5 Speed Clutch Plate

I?m in the process of preparing to install a Lotus 5 speed box as a winter project.

I bought an 8.5? clutch plate at a parts fair some time ago, but now realise that it has 7/8? x 20 spline which is no good for the 5 speed.

The 5 speed is 1.11? x 25 spline which I don?t think is a Ford spec. Does anyone know what standard production clutch plate was used?

Also while on the subject, are there any other things I need to know regarding the fitment of the 5 speed to the Twnik?

I seem to remember an old thread that said something about the pilot bearing, but can't find it in the archive.

Not 100% about this but maybe HB 2615 from an Elite + Eclat 5 speed 521 with a mod of machining 5mm off the flywheel side of the hub if necessary...

John

The gear lever comes out in a slightly different position; the exhaust manifolds are different part numbers on a 5 speed to a 4 speed; maybe a clearance problem at the gearbox; nothing that can't be sorted, good luck, John.
