Where did the lotus diff originally come from? Which cars would have been using these differentials.

They are UK Ford items, as fitted to the Anglia, Classic, Capri, Cortina, Corsair and Escort...and maybe Transit Van as well! Plenty about here, but the desirable 3.55 : 1 ratio is quite hard to find...the Escort boys like these as well.
