Prop shaft balancing

Hi all.
I am progressing with the rebuild of my +2. I've fitted a Sierra T9 box in place of the original, and have a replacement +2 4 speed prop shaft from ebay. I have to fit a new spline to the leading end of the shaft, and have new needle rollers for it.
My query is what to do about balancing? Obviously I have no alignment marks as the prop and gearbox are not from my car. Should I get the prop balanced now, or wait until it's in the car and take the whole car to a balancing shop? If the latter, has anyone done this and who should I go to - I'm in Dorset? This must be a common kit car problem.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Sean.
