S2 S3 tail light studs

PostPost by: gjz30075 » Sun Jun 12, 2022 2:02 pm

What's the best solution for those loose studs that hold the tail light assembly to the body?
JBWeld does not work and I'm thinking of just putting a 'dab' of weld to hold them in place
but the metal is really thin. Any good solutions out there? Thanks!

use silver solder. Or take them out and replace them with set screws and half nuts to secure.

I like the set screws and half nuts idea. Thanks Dave.
