Does this handbrake tree look right?

Hi There

My project car came to me "lightly assembled" and the handbrake tree was on the car. I have changed the chassis to a Spyder one, and for the life of me its does not look like it could possibly function with the diff there. It also looks significantly bent to me.

Opinion sought, pictures below,

Many thanks

Berni

Your tree should not be bent over at 90 degrees at the end Berni. I am just about to send off a +2 tree to a good fellow, will post a picture later.

Yes its the later tree but its been bent up at the end, probably to allow the cable clear the diff lower torque rod arm which gets very close

cheers

Hi Guys,

I shall straighten the tree and have a play with it again later today. It looks like the top arm (the ones the brake actuator rods attach to) may have been extended at some point. Does anyone know how long it should be hole to hole?

Many Thanks

Berni
