Type 26 Registry photos are now gone from which I expected to gain useful reassembly information for my Elan soooo, can someone post or direct me to a good photo of the assembled firewall?

Try
https://archive.org/web/
One of the best web sites available, that is if your into live music, or spoken word. Nice thing about he “way back machine” is it has most pages, though only snaps. You type your interest into provided box, acts like a google search.
Ive found valuable Mercedes, Volvo etc pages that have been gone for ever.

“Play it loud” as Bill Graham once said.

There are 42 captures of Type 26 Registry, you would need the exact URL as in

http://www.type26register.com/photo/ or whatever it is to get to pictures

Well, all I seem to come up with is Chinese porn. Former discussion on this makes it apparent that that is who bought the site. Sooo, any other ideas?

http://www.type26register.com/Photos.html

Probably not going to get what you need, only 13 captures. Unless you know the page URL. Not stopping you from guessing. But you probably need to find an email address of someone with a 26r

I will spend some more time looking at archive later, think its easier to search on a desktop not tablet.

Thanks anyway and I do know someone with a type 26. A photo would be sooo much easier.

Thanks folks, I'm trying to figure which of the several holes the PO drilled are to mount the starter solenoid so a good shot of that would be nice or just a shot of the whole firewall taken from in front of the car since I'm sure I will need further references.

I managed to post twice on this subject and Paddy found the photo I was thinking of. That photo along with Mazzini's photo I think will do. Hopefully the correct holes will be obvious and if not I'll be begging again! :)
