Here are more recent plctures of my headliner. I taped mylar on the top hoping it will keep some heat out. The liner fits tight, but is removable by pulling 8 screws, including the sun visor screws. Next will be covering the black visors in the same material.

looking pretty slick ! almost too neat for an original car in my opinion, but for a race car that would add an elegant finishing touch.

As for the heat, a lot of it comes from the tunnel in my coupe, I suppose most of the hot air from the bay is channeled through it, plus when you stop the exhaust also radiates and convection goes up into it. The firewall on the exhaust side tends to get warm, too.

That finished up very clean. Nicely done.

I've got fond memories of zipping around your beautiful little island in the late nineties on a rental scooter with my girlfriend and now wife. Wonderful place to live, I'm sure. Except, maybe, for those annoying tourists zipping around on rental scooters. :D

It was in and out of the car at least 20 times.

Bud - It's probably good we didn't "run in to each other" back then. Over the years I've met quite a few people who said they visited here, but out of all of them, precisely 2 (the 2 who crashed!), mentioned mopeds and volunteered the actual name of the rental company they got the mopeds from. It sounds like your experience here was much better.
