Elan +2 Door check strap assemblies

For my first ever post on a forum I thought readers might like to know that Door Check Strap assemblies are available in UK from Christopher Neil (also known as Oakmere Lotus, Northwich, Cheshire). I have ordered a pair for my 1968 +2 because my originals are beyond salvation. I am awaiting delivery and, in due course, will be happy to let readers know how I get on with fitting them. From the photograph, they look quite correct. I have been speaking to Paul at Christorpher Neil and found him to be both knowledgeable and helpful.
