Finally painted!

I hope everyone is keeping well. I showed up at the paint shop on Friday and found this....

What paint system was used.

My S4 body has just gone to the body shop for prep and paint in red. Not sure if it should be water based or 2k.
What was your final choice.

Hi Alan,
A base/clear was used (solvent). I'll ask the painter what he used specifically and let you know.
It's getting the engine bay painted this week - hoping to bring it home next week.

Thanks! The engine bay will be black...going to the shop this morning to prep it.

Excellent Charlie. The black engine bay has the advantage that the prep doesn’t have to be as exacting. Going to look really nice.
