Good morning,
Has anyone a picture of the s3 boot lock striker plate, the part which is attached to the boot lid? I don't think I have it amongst the 3d puzzle I am assembling, but then again, I don't know what I am looking for........
Thanks in advance.
David.

Hi David,
This is my S4 which I think will be the same as your S3.....
All the usual suspects list a replacement but it looks a somewhat simpler design...

Hope this helps.

Good morning David,
My S3 has the same one as in Roger`s photo. The fixing holes appear to be slotted for adjustment.

Now, the questions is, what did it come off originally? ....

Excuse me reviving this post from January. My car is an S4 coupe and this is the best match I can find for how to adjust the striker plate. The only way I can see to do this is from within the boot. To be in the boot I need to lie on the spine of the body with my head and shoulders in the boot. I am an old man with a bad back. Have I missed something, or do I need to recruit a small young flexible assistant.

Rig up your phone in the boot with the video setting and a flashlight, pointing at the latch. You may need mirrors as well. Close the boot gently and see how well it does or doesn’t line up.
