Are you planning to do it in situ? I can't really see a painted headlining looing good. If it's in bad shape, I think you'd be better off replacing it.

I do plan to do it in situ, its not bad at all ,but the "A"
posts are very stained/yellow and wont clean up, I have seen leather dye being applied to seats with a cloth and thats what I want to do, but not sure what colour it should be . It looks "off White" but wondered if there is a name ,ie old English white?
Thanks Tony

Not sure if this is a help, but I used Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric spray paint to touch up the sun visors. The available Gloss White matched pretty well with the new headlining material I got from Sue Miller. The old headlining had yellowed considerably when compared to the new material, so expect matching to your existing headlining might be a challenge. I expect two cans of Dupli-Color would do the whole roof though. If planning on coating the entire headliner I would recommend removing the C pillar panels to do separately. I think the rest could be effectively masked and the door seals pulled down to prevent overspray.
The white finish has been reasonably durable; much more durable than a similar black product I used for the carpeted areas of the door panels.
