Headlining and windscreen fitting

I bought my +2 partly disassembled but with a bunch of useful parts; one of which was a new headliner. Unfortunately the screen is a bonded unit and I was wondering if there is anyway of making a good job of fitting the headlining without removing and rebounding the windscreen?
Also assuming the answer is an emphatic “no”, are there any good Instructions online regarding source of sealer, how much to use etc. when I go to put it back in?
Thanks

A poster by the name of Innes provided a very good detailed account of how he fitted the bonded screen on his JPS a few years ago - try a search :D

In my car the screen is held off the lip, leaving a gap between the screen and fiberglass lip. The head liner is glued to the lip with a U channel rubber (think door seal without the seal part) over it.Mostly filling the gap between screen and window.

So in theory it might be possible. Whether you could actually get the head liner in place and clips to hold it tight with screen in while fitting I am less sure.

Jono & mbell - thanks for your suggestions. I haven't worked up the courage to try to fit the headlining yet but will report on the results when I do.

I'm just getting my head around how to install mine and what I need to do it - which impact adhesive and clips.
So far, on the method, i'm looking at; starting gluing it half way along each side, the width of one clip - (front and rear screens and each door opening). Then working away from each glued middle, bit by bit on each side.
I'm sure I won't get it perfect.

I think when I did mine, following an old post here so where, I stretched and clipped it dry initially, getting the lengthwise stretch first then the widwise. Get it all pulled tight in the clips then leave it for a day or two (?) to take shape before gluing. Trim away excess after gluing. With no prior experience, it came out great.
