Hi

I was wondering what people hold the rubber/felt window channels in with in an S2 elan?

My old ones fell to bits so I don't really have a reference. I tried small stainless countersunk screws in the rear one, which is the way they are held into a mk1 mini door, but I seem to have clearance issues to the chrome door lock plate.
It looks like the front ones just push in?

Simon, I carry new front and rear felts. The fronts can push in but I prefer to use a few dabs of black RTV. The rears are held in place by short aluminum rivets which I then flatten with a flat pointed drift.

Thanks for the reply Frank, unfortunately you are in the US and I am in the UK so getting the felt from you is probably a bit prohibitive because of the shipping cost.
I have the rear and I'm pretty sure the front is available here too.
I'll see if I can source some suitable sized solid aluminium rivets.
