Elan s3 bumper colour

Hi
Has someone the Silver reference for the bumpers. Is it the same us the wheels reference? I want to paint it in the same reference. I have also a hardtop that I want to paint also in Silver.

I've used "silver fox grey metallic" to get mix formulas in the past... but you probably want to check what your paint manufacturer offers for that.

Black bumpers is the only way to go!!

You no doubt have the ICI codes for the silver which are well published in these parts.
I used Glasurit and the colour was:
Bumpers. From Glasurit Classic Color Online. FORD AUSTRALIA SILVER FOX MET (colour code) Z (Std. No.) )01652 1969-1971

Ford Silver Fox or Stratos Silver seem to be the main silvers used for the bumpers and wheels.

The white elan is the same age and colour as mine. I have not fitted the bumpers yet but the po painted them gold. However, I am thinking of painting them white to match the car.

Oh, one thing I forgot about black bumpers is, if like me you do a huge mileage, they are much much easier to touch in the stone chips and so on than silver or gold. Just sayin'
